After nearly two years of virtual events, the National Hardware Show (NHS) is back live, and many of your favorite parts of the show are back.
“We know how eager everyone is to come together again and are excited to unite in a new, state-of-the-art space," says Beth Casson, event leader for the National Hardware Show. “We understand how important NHS is to our customers and partners, and we understand how much has changed in the world since our last edition. We are committed to serving the industry by providing the education, resources and networking needed for success in 2021 and beyond.”
The exhibitor lineup features over 680 vendors sharing their products and services, giving you the opportunity to find new products and connect with your favorite vendors. You’ll see the latest trends in growing categories like outdoor living and housewares and new products in core areas like plumbing, electrical and power tools. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with industry colleagues.
The United Inventors Association (UIA), the largest nonprofit inventor member organization in the country, will also return to the show in HABITAT NEXT, the reimagined Inventors Spotlight. The UIA will hold a number of training sessions and panel discussions to help educate inventors on the different vehicles available to fully launch their products. Sessions will cover a wide variety of topics, including prototyping, target funding, pitching a product, critical elements for invention success and patents, trademarks and copyrights.
“Joining associations such as UIA, as well as volunteering at and attending trade shows like the National Hardware Show, can prove invaluable to young inventors as they make their way forward,” says UIA president Carmine Denisco.
Also be sure to visit the attendee-favorite NHS Backyard, where you can spend time in the sun exploring grilling and outdoor living trends and new products. You may also get a bite to eat while you're there.
The North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA) has brought back the NHPA All-Industry Conference, hosted in conjunction with NHS. The conference is held in the lobby of the West Hall and is free for all NHS attendees.
The NHPA All-Industry Conference includes a series of educational seminars, networking opportunities and a speaker lineup offering valuable insights into industry topics and trends. Panel discussions, keynote speakers and other presentations will align with three themes: connections and leadership, strategy and trends and logistics and global sourcing. In addition, presentations will also include the Top Guns Award panel and product and trends focused discussions.
