Beginner Grilling Class: Hands-On Experience

Ready to fire up the grill and learn some delicious new skills? Join us for a hands-on grilling experience where we’ll walk you through the art of grilling some mouthwatering dishes! In this beginner-level class, you'll gain the confidence and techniques needed to create dishes that are perfect for any occasion.

What We’ll Grill:

  • Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus with Balsamic Drizzle and Shaved Parmesan: We’ll show you how to achieve the perfect balance of crispy prosciutto and tender asparagus, finished with a rich balsamic reduction and a sprinkle of fresh parmesan.
  • BBQ Chicken Pizza: Learn how to make a smoky, savory BBQ chicken pizza right on the grill. We’ll cover tips for creating the perfect crust and getting the perfect char while balancing flavors with the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings.

From crafting tender, juicy filets to mastering delicate seafood on the grill, this class is designed for those who want to push their grilling boundaries and become true grill experts.

What We’ll Grill:

  • Greek Chicken Kabobs: Marinate and skewer chicken, then grill to achieve a perfect char while keeping it juicy and flavorful.
  • Grilled Zucchini Planks with Charred Lemon & Parmesan: Learn to grill zucchini to perfection, topped with charred lemon and parmesan.
  • Filets with Béarnaise Sauce: Grill tender filet mignon and make a rich, buttery béarnaise sauce from scratch.
  • Griddle-Top Scallops: Use a griddle pan on the grill for perfectly seared, succulent scallops.
  • Grilled Asparagus: Master grilling asparagus to a crisp-tender texture with a smoky finish.

Each class lasts approximately 2 and a half hours, with a hands-on grilling experience and instructional time.

No, all necessary equipment and supplies (grills, tools, ingredients) will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

The class fee includes access to the grilling session, all ingredients, tools, and grills, plus a gift bag with items such as an apron, bottle opener, koozies, and raffle tickets for a chance to win a grill.

Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend the grilling classes and attend NHS.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Aprons will be provided for added protection while grilling.
