NEW YORK, NY ─ (April 22, 2014): Tom Kraeutler and Leslie Segrete of the nationally syndicated radio program “The Money Pit” will be hosting the all new “Top Products Pavilion” at the 2014 National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, May 6th – May 8th.

Kraeutler and Segrete have been fixtures at the National Hardware Show for more than a decade with their annual national radio broadcast and a TV & Radio Media Tour produced live from Las Vegas that has consistently delivered over 30 million consumer impressions each year. This year, The Money Pit is hosting the “Top Products Pavilion” where products will be featured in a dedicated pavilion on the floor of the National Hardware Show. In addition, Tom and Leslie will be giving their audience an insider’s view of the show and products being shown, expanding the show’s reach nationally with broadcast, digital and social media in advance of the show and running through May.

This is a new model for influencers to engage with audiences at trade shows. “In the old days, we'd perform a radio show and write articles. Now we're opening the doors of engagement for brands, connecting our fans and followers to their conversations and broadening everyone's reach to talk to DIYers,” said Tom Kraeutler.

The Money Pit Home Improvement Radio Show is heard on over 330 radio stations and is the most downloaded home improvement podcast on iTunes. The show reaches 4 million listeners weekly. “The broadcast from the National Hardware Show is always one of the most popular of the year,” said Leslie Segrete. “Our audience is extremely passionate about home improvement, remodeling and décor and being here gives the listening audience, as well as the over 100,000 that follow our social media platforms, an insider’s view of the newest products and trends.”

Products being featured and on display in the “Top Products Pavilion” and engaging with the national audience during the multi-week promotion include Krylon Dual Super Bond, Concrobium Mold Solutions, Danco Perfect Seal, Werner Podium Ladder, as well as products from Stanley and Gladiator Garageworks. The Money Pit radio show will tape from the “Top Products Pavilion” at National Hardware Show on Wednesday, May 6th from 10am -12n. This is a special broadcast of the show where Tom and Leslie will feature products and interview manufacturers at the show. They will also be signing copies of their book “My Home My Money Pit, Your Guide to Every Home Improvement Adventure,” along with filming product demos and producing their Top Products Podcast throughout the show all from the “Top Products Pavilion”.

A leading influencer on multiple social media platforms, The Money Pit will also host several sessions in the Pavilion to help more people join the DIY conversation. Nora DePalma of industry marketing agency O'Reilly DePalma will host four panel discussions on social media and four round table discussions plus individual one on one free social media consults. DePalma will cover a wide range of topics in her presentation including:
