National Hardware Show® to Feature Daily Themed Areas

May 01, 2014

(NORWALK, Conn. May 1, 2014) - This year, event planners of the National Hardware Show® are mixing things up. With so many products to see, events to attend and networking opportunities at the Show, which will be held May 6-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), the staff wanted to do something to make some of the biggest trends in home improvement truly stand out in a unique way. Its how the idea to feature a special theme each day was born.

On the lineup for these special themed days are kickoff celebrations, closing celebrations, prizes, music and even an interactive passport program. Red Badge Attendees can get their passports stamped at different booths they visit, and everyone who completes the passport program will receive a T-shirt (while supplies last) at the afternoon cocktail party.

"We wanted to recognize some of the biggest, most popular areas of the National Hardware Show, and we thought the themed days would be a great way to do it," says Rich Russo, Vice President of the National Hardware Show. "We're sure attendees and exhibitors alike will appreciate the chance to recognize these areas through special ceremonies, networking events and more.

"The theme for Tuesday, May 6, will be World of Home Improvement, which will celebrate suppliers to the home improvement industry by recognizing and celebrating international exhibitors.

The theme for Wednesday, May 7, will be Made in the USA. Take the passport tour of Made in the USA exhibitors to celebrate domestically made products and their manufacturers.

The theme for Thursday, May 8, will be Innovation Day. New and innovative products always have been, and continue to be, a large part of the National Hardware Show. On Thursday, take some time to visit the new product areas and check out new-product-themed events, such as the New Product Launch Awards at 11 a.m.
