Calling all inventors! 

We’re pleased to announce a new opportunity for inventors to gain exposure for their products!  InventionHome is holding their first DRTV Product Summit, offering the opportunity for inventors to present their products at no cost and in person to six of the industry’s most influential infomercial/DRTV companies.

Top executives from six separate DRTV companies responsible for dozens of hit products including the Snuggie®, TopsyTurvy®, ShamWow!®, Total Gym®, Twin Draft Guard®, Pajama Jeans®, Easy Feet and HD Aviators will be on hand to meet inventors. This one day summit will be held at Robert Morris University near the Pittsburgh airport on September 28th, 2011.

Twenty four inventors will be selected to receive 10-minute private sessions with each company in attendance. Products will be selected based on criteria that translate to successful sales on television with subsequent sales to retail stores. Successful Direct Response products typically solve a problem and are easy to demonstrate. They sell for at least 5 times as much as they cost to produce and appeal to a wide audience. Hit TV products have a “wow factor”, that product feature that makes you say “Wow! I need to have that!”, because in some way it is going to make your life a little bit better or easier.

To be considered, inventors may submit their products here. Submissions will be accepted until August 19th and inventors will be informed by August 31st if they have been selected to attend.
