Vegas Trip Elevates Garden Products Business:
A chance meeting in Las Vegas is benefitting a Kitchener product designer and the St. Clements business that now makes his products.

The National Hardware Show Gives A Record Donation:
Companies exhibiting products at the recently concluded National Hardware Show donated 14 trailer loads of goods to Opportunity Village.
It was the largest donation to date to the nonprofit agency, which serves those with intellectual disabilities, from the show's exhibitors.
Laura D'Amore, director of sales at Opportunity Village, said the donation surpassed any from previous years by 15 percent, which means more merchandise for the thrift store that employs mentally disabled people in the Las Vegas area. View Full Article Here |

Rapid Fix Glue A Great Find At The National Hardware Show:
One of my favorite things to do is go to hardware shows, look for new ways to do an old project and then share that with you.
I am always amazed each year in Las Vegas at the National Hardware Show at the new things they come out with. They have a whole area that is reserved for new products and it takes me forever to go through those aisles.
Rapid Fix Glue is one of those products that is like no other. I mean we have so many kinds of glue, tape, epoxy; we have a whole 15 feet of the hardware store that is dedicated just to adhesives. But I have never found an adhesive like Rapid Fix because it will fix china, it will adhere rubber, metal to rubber, rubber to rubber, leather, leather to cloth, and did I mention plastic? National Hardware Show: Creating a Strong Foundation for 2012 with an Increase in Buying Attendance:
The National Hardware Show® announced that it saw a 4 percent increase in attendance this year, which is on top of the 20-percent increase last year, according to a release.
Exhibitor bookings for next year's event are already up 16 percent compared to the previous year's early bookings. With nine different categories to shop from, attendees had plenty to see on the show floor which spanned more than 12 acres.
"The buzz that began with the marching band at the Opening Ceremony continued right through to the end of the Show," said Ed Several, Senior V.P. and General Manager of the National Hardware Show. "We are so pleased to hear all of the great feedback from attendees and exhibitors who successfully identified products and services to move their business forward.
